Varicoceles are abnormally dilated veins around the testicle and are found in 15% of men in the general population, in 40% of men presenting with male infertility, and 80% of men who did not have trouble achieving a pregnancy with their partner in the past but have difficulty doing so now. That makes varicoceles the most commonly correctable form of male infertility.
