Sarah Compton, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Sarah is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who cares deeply about providing care and emotional support to help patients grow their families. She is a Nurse Practitioner with Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine/Westlake IVF since March 2021. Sarah began her healthcare experience as a triage volunteer at a non-profit health clinic that primarily serves local refugees. Since that time, she has gained experience in pediatrics, adult acute care, women’s health, family medicine, and pain management. 

In addition to her clinical experience, Sarah also has an outstanding academic background that includes two bachelor’s degrees (BA in Psychology and a BSN in Nursing) and two master’s degrees (MA in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas and MS in Nursing from Texas State University). At Texas State, Sarah was awarded the College of Health Professions Outstanding Nursing Graduate Academic Student Award. 

Sarah is a member of several professional organizations including American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and American Society for Reproductive Medicine. 

Sarah spends her free time with her husband and four children. She regularly volunteers with Hope Clinic in Austin and enjoys baking, traveling, watching her children’s sports, and listening to true crime podcasts.
