Amy S. Esqueda, RNC, MSN, APRN

Amy Esqueda is a Nurse Practitioner with clinical expertise in Women’s Health, Endocrinology and Complex Medical conditions. Amy is also an Adjunct Professor with Austin Community College since 2004. She is a BS in Nursing Honors graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso as well as an MS in Nursing Summa Cum Laude graduate of Hahnemann University (now Drexel University) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Austin Fertility and Reproductive Medicine / Westlake IVF, Amy served as the inaugural Nurse Manager for Clinical Operations at Dell Medical School for The University of Texas at Austin. She has served as a Nurse Practitioner since 2000 and as a Registered Nurse since 1992. Amy has been an integral part of the healthcare community in Texas for over 30 years. She has performed various roles through the years — receptionist, unit secretary, billing administrator, scrub technician, staff nurse, charge nurse, department head, women’s healthcare nurse practitioner, endocrinology nurse practitioner, adjunct professor, consultant, wife, mom and friend. 

Amy was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in a bicultural family that can be characterized as: The Deep South Meets Latin America. A handful of caring mentors assisted with cultivation of a dynamic, accomplished and recognized leader within the healthcare industry. Amy is a highly-respected healthcare provider within the Greater Central Texas Area who is stimulated by challenges and driven by a passion to deliver the ultimate in patient care.

Amy also possesses a great love and appreciation for fine arts, music and sports. Her interests include reading for pleasure, music performance (flute), distance cycling and spending quality time with her husband and three young children.
