Kelsey is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner that believes in compassionate, high-quality, and evidence-based patient care with emphasis on helping families of all different backgrounds achieve their personal goals. She is a Nurse Practitioner with Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine/Westlake IVF since February 2023. Kelsey has been providing patient care since 2011, where she began in the emergency department at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Next, she spent 8+ years in a surgical NICU where she became a primary preceptor that trained new nurses. As a team player committed to improving outcomes, she was also part of several committees focusing on current research and updating protocols. Healthcare is perpetually evolving, and Kelsey is passionate about keeping patients up to date and informed about their individualized options.
In addition to healthcare experience, Kelsey has a comprehensive education. She has two bachelor’s degrees (BGS in Early Childhood Research & Autism Intervention from the University of Kansas and BSN in Nursing from Texas State University) and a master’s degree (MSN in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington). She graduated with honors and is part of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She is also a member of the professional organization, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Kelsey’s free time is spent with her husband and their two schnauzers, Nash and Frank. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, gardening, Kansas basketball, and trying new restaurants around Austin.
