Can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Parviz Kavoussi as my surgeon for a delicate operation on a seriously engorged spermatocele. Did a LOT of searching to find a surgeon who specializes in this unique surgery (most docs seem to focus on the more routine services for men (i.e. vasectomy, kidney stones, bladder, etc.). Dr. Kavoussi literally wrote the book on this procedure (yes, the whole section in a major Urology treatise dealing with this procedure). Talk about a great guy too. Wonderful demeanor, sense of humor, gave me all the time I needed to ask a litany of questions with no hint of rushing me through or not listening to and addressing my concerns. On the day of surgery, he had an amazing staff (most all have been with him for many years) and the team works super-well together and made me feel so comfortable about every aspect of the surgery.
I can’t recommend this man enough for any man needing urological services that would require surgery. He’s confident, ridiculously knowledgeable in his field, and a true gentleman to boot! Thanks doc – for a job well done. You’ve made my day-to-day living so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Dr. Kavoussi is a master in his craft.  Hands down the best urologist in Austin / no scalpel vasectomy.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kavoussi for several years now for testosterone treatment following my cancer surgery.  He’s always been great.  Give options.  Talks through details.  Answers questions.  Great doctor!

I was treated by Total Men’s Health (TMH) several years ago.  Everything seemed promising at first.  But eventually, my blood work started sliding out of the normal range.  Things were not right, and I could also feel it physically.  TRT is something Total Men’s Health specializes in, and their Physician Assistant said my lab results were fine.  I was concerned. This is an honest description of my experience with no exaggeration.  Luckily, I switched to Dr. Kavoussi.  He completely revised my treatment.  My recent lab panels have been excellent.  Back in normal range.  I have a lot of energy at the gym, and I feel much better than when I was a patient of TMH.  It could have just been the Physician Assistant I worked with.  Their prescribed plan was too risky.  I felt the impact physically.  When we first met, I could tell Dr. Kavoussi was not impressed with the Total Men’s Health plan.  And, he was alarmed by lab numbers I showed him.  For TRT, I realized that working with an expert in the field like Dr. Kavoussi (and not a Physician Assistant) is essential for TRT.  Dr. Kavoussi offers additional innovative (well-tested) options not offered at TMH.  In addition, I feel comfortable talking with Dr. Kavoussi about any related concerns.

Dr. Kavoussi is amazing. He’s brilliant, patient, thorough, friendly, and most importantly he is an excellent surgeon. I’m so glad I trusted Dr. Kavoussi to operate on me. He clearly explained everything before and after the procedure and even called me personally after the surgery to make sure everything was going well. Dr. Kavoussi is the best of the best. Hands down.
