Andrology laboratory services are a crucial need in the care of fertility patients. These services include the semen analysis, which is the cornerstone of the male fertility evaluation, as well as higher level functional testing such as sperm DNA fragmentation testing. Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine/Westlake IVF has traditionally offered such diagnostic andrology services at the center in Westlake on Beardsley Lane. AFRM/WLIVF is now pleased to announce the opening of its andrology laboratory at the South Austin center on James Casey Street. This allows for patients in South Austin and the surrounding areas to have a more convenient location for this diagnostic testing, at the same exceptionally high level of quality and comfort that has always been provided at the Westlake center. Having the andrology laboratory at the South location also allows for the opportunity for couples undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI) by the AFRM reproductive endocrinology team to have it performed at the South Austin location for those who find this location more convenient.
