Ashlee Bates

Ashlee is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has felt called to be in healthcare since a very young age. Even as a child, growing up in West Texas, she had a dream of becoming a nurse someday. Her dream never wavered, and she started down the path to nursing shortly after graduating from high school.

Ashlee has been in the healthcare field providing care to patients since 2002. She started her healthcare career as an Emergency Medical Technician and graduated with her AS in Nursing degree from Odessa College in 2004. Her education continued and she obtained her BS in Nursing degree from South University in 2009 and then her MS in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Texas State University in 2020. She is an active member of multiple professional organizations including American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners and Austin Advanced Practice Nurses.

During her career, Ashlee has gained experience in both pediatric and adult critical care, brain tumor and epilepsy research, neonatal intensive care and labor and delivery, case management, home health, women’s health, and family medicine. She is excited to be part of the Austin Fertility and Reproductive Medicine team and has a passion for her patients and strives to deliver holistic and personalized care to each individual or couple trying to conceive.

While she is not at work, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her husband, her son, and their dogs. They enjoy getting outdoors and going on walks or spending time with family and friends. She loves sports, music, reading, and watching true crime documentaries.
