Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine/Westlake IVF is proud to announce that Roxanne Summers-Colquitt, M.S., T.S., E.L.D. has been appointed as IVF Laboratory Director at Westlake IVF.  Roxanne is board-certified by the American Board of Bioanalysts as an Embryology Laboratory Director and assumed the position of IVF Laboratory Director in November 2016 and brings 29 years of embryology laboratory experience with her.  She is a College of American Pathologists (CAP) inspector, an important role which involves the inspection of quality assurance and quality control in IVF laboratories nationwide.   Roxanne earned two Masters degrees, one being a Master of History from the University of Iowa, and another being a Master of Science degree in Biology at the University of Illinois.  During her career, Roxanne has been a mentor, having trained embryologists and andrologists.  She is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and American Board of Bioanalysts (ABB).   She is active in the clinical laboratory directorship and daily functions of the IVF and andrology laboratories at Westlake IVF as well as remaining active in research to help advance the field.
