The physicians at Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine (AFRM) have recently opened a second location in Westlake Hills which includes within it, Westlake IVF. One side of the facility is comprised of consultation rooms as well as ultrasound/exam rooms and the other side features an office-based IVF suite that features a state-of-the-art embryology laboratory. The Austin IVF suite is comprised of the procedure rooms (for egg retrieval and embryo transfer) as well as the adjacent IVF lab.
The IVF suite has been designed specifically with the comfort of couples in mind and to minimize the stress that some may experience during the IVF process. Since the Austin IVF suite is located within the comfort of our office setting, patients who are undergoing IVF and have been seen for consultation and/or ultrasound appointments at the Westlake location will be familiar with their surroundings when they arrive for their IVF procedures. The walls of the IVF procedure rooms (for egg retrievals and embryo transfers) are of a carefully chosen soothing color and patients who desire acupuncture on the day of embryo transfer are accommodated.
