Caitlin Hunn
Caitlin Hunn, M.S. is an Embryologist/Andrologist at Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine/Westlake IVF and has been a part of the team since June, 2015. Caitlin earned her BSc degree in Animal Science from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX in 2013. She received a MSc degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Reproductive Physiology in 2015. She has specialized training in general and reproductive physiology and embryo culture, and basic laboratory techniques. Caitlin was a Reproductive Physiology teaching assistant at Texas Tech from 2013-2014. Caitlin is currently a General Supervisor with the American Association of Bioanalysis (AAB) and is training to certify as a Technical Supervisor in Embryology and Andrology through the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB). Her research topics include:

  • Environmental effects on sperm health
  • The effects of humidity on pregnancy rates in IVF
  • Microfluidics and its benefits on embryo growth and development
