Jason E. Swain, PhD, HCLD
Dr. Swain is the lab director of the ART laboratory at Westlake IVF. He obtained his BSc from Hillsdale College in his native Michigan, his MSc in Animal Science from Purdue University and his PhD Molecular and Integrative Physiology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Swain is board certified as a High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director and is also currently an Assistant Professor faculty member at the University of Michigan and Scientific Director of ART laboratories there. His research interests include:
- oocyte maturation
- cryopreservation
- PGD/PGS
- improving culture conditions
